“Merits and virtues scriptures for the Buddha ablution”

When cleaning the Buddha,

You should put the candana, symplocos paniculata and padauk into the water.

Adding tulips, keruing, agastache and so on.

Put them on clean stones and grind them to mud.

And place them in clean containers. Make jars by using fine soil.

Either square or rounded.

Place the Buddha in the middle of the bed. Carefully clean the Buddha with fragrant water.

Then clean the Buddha with clear water. The water used must be clean and do not hurt the insects.

Gently dip the clean water with two fingers, and start cleaning from the head.

It's called auspicious water. The water flows to the clean ground, do not step on with your feet.

Wipe the Buddha with a soft towel cloth.

Burning incense to ensure it’s full of fragrance, and put the Buddha back.

Clean the Buddha in this way,

All the beings will be able to live in peace and gain health and longevity without disease and disaster.

All kind wishes will be fully realized. Friends and family will lived in peace and harmony.

Will never be bothered by the eight catastrophes, away from the misery.

Will not be reincarnated as a woman, and quickly cultivate to Bodhi.

Burn incense personally in front of the Buddha

As a practitioner, if you haven't cleaned the Buddha, you still have a distance from the real practice.

The cleaning of the Buddha is both a merit and an exquisite practice. We get sewage after cleaning, but also the sublimation of an impetuous heart. NAMA believes that life is like an act of obeisance, to bath as a starting point, and gradually purified your heart. This is not to satisfy someone else, but to meet a better oneself.
